Although Emesu is “use me” backwards, there’s nothing retrogressive about their designs. It’s all very progressive, in fact a line of furniture that’s created around what the furniture does for you. I saw the Relax Me series. A simple Floor Light sports an innovative easy to use light switch. That rod in the middle has a ring you pull to turn the lamp on/off. They’ve also got the same type of mechanism on their taller Floor Lamp. The big surprise was the leather bead bag Chair and Ottoman, they were amongst the most comfortable at the show and, hard to believe, sturdy. Designed by Eskil Tomozy and Shawn Sinyork. More images after the jump.

Floor Lamp, and a surprisingly sturdy and comfortable leather bead bag Chair and Ottoman.
