Tassa
by sabine7 / May 30, 2006

Designer Michelle Ivankovic marries art with design and brings new life to vintage tea cups by hand-dipping them in colourful food-safe silicone. The limited edition Tassa, produced for Umbra, comes in a variety of colours, but each set is one-of-a-kind. The vintage cups and saucers are of varying shapes and sizes which adds to the fun. This design, which was just seen at ICFF and will be available in June, also takes the form of sugar bowls, creamers and teapots. SM

Ooh la love. Love the colors. Seems like more and more and more vintage and handcrafted, one of a kind items are popping up, in every aspect of design.
