Designersblock had a fresh exhibition curated by Piers Roberts and Rory Dodd outside Karkula in the Meatpacking District as part of the recent NY Design Week. There was an assortment of wired and unwired phones from Hulger who had their three models for wired and Bluetooth. Bodil Søderlund had a perfectly delightful group of ceramicized stuffed animals, an excellent way of preserving the past while updating it. Charlie Davidson was there with his black light, the “rock’n’roll” wheeler table and a sleek red chair and ottoman. And they had all very practically used the house hooks from Domesticity to keep Gansevoort sidewalks tidy. SM
