Imagine the streamlining this would do to the countertops and cupboards of many homes. Not to mention retracting and pulling out those cords are a chore themselves. Just a little more production value and you'd see this on my counter.
This is actually really retro. I went to a house last night that was original to 1962, and was delighted by the blender integrated into the kitchen counter. It looked pretty much exactly like this.
