Innovative Home

+ Lloyd at Treehugger just picked up a copy of Innovative Home, a new shelter (read house & home) magazine “dedicated to advancing and effecting change within the shelter industry, and promoting the creation of today's ‘life-homes’". Contributors to the publication include Jill Fehrenbacher and Sarah Rich of Inhabitat. Read Lloyd’s review here. Read the Innovative Home .PDF interview with Marc Newson here.

"A shelter magazine". Hopefully the artistic license employed doesn't end there. I'm always up for mainstreaming eco-correct building, design and living but a sad fact is that the average consumer's impression of anything eco are houses made of rubber tires and chaining yourself to trees while wearing hemp. Maybe this mag and others like it would make many see what eco-living really is like.

Thanks for the link, this magazine seems to be really focussing on what's going to be more and more relevant in architecture and design: ecolo, techno, modulo.

Do you have other references of magazines that might be interesting?
