Some recent MoCo Loco media mentions. In the print version only of the March 25th edition of The Financial Times, as part of their Design Special: House & Home, I was quoted in the Trends bubble-shaped sidebars of Objects of Desire (thanks Josh & Lloyd). In the Anti-Minimalism sidebar I talked of the ‘new rococo’ as illustrated by Lace and Joris Laarman’s radiator, and in Multi-functionality, on how objects/furniture are increasingly doing more than one thing, such as SleepSexWorkEatDrinkDream. In Trendwatching, an online trends briefing, we’re one of the “insanely detailed information services available on the web” in INFOLUST, Micropublishing. And in the daily Sacramento Bee, in an article on living spaces outdoors titled Inside Out, I talked about how architects are increasingly being called upon to integrate the in and out in new-house construction.
