Last week's MoCo submissions.
+ GummiLights...penny candy-inspired, soft, rubbery lights with "LED's in their butts". Thanks Mario!
+ Boon's multifunctional Potty Bench serves multiple purposes - as a training toilet, step up stool, and bench. Thanks Robert!
+ Solv Studio's bent ply Miles chair. Thanks George!
+ Bernstein Design's suspended Floating Bed is completely motionless, unless you loosen the cables. Thanks Abre!
+ Designed by studio:anderson, the mens and ladies rooms at Aubergine, a restaurant in Gaslamp District San Diego, "invert typical gender representations in social architecture. In the women’s room a man’s suit metaphorically represents 'masculinity.' Three primary materials––blue resin (tie), walnut plank (pant), and white tile (shirt)––delineate three zones for washing, waiting, and grooming. In the men's room 'Femininity' is represented with vibrant color and supple materials.". Thanks Aaron!
+ Panasonic Plasma Aquarium; two "video portholes" in the lobby of a condo in Florida play HD underwater video so lifelike that visitors mistake it for an actual giant-tank aquarium. The illusion is helped by the fact that the "fish" can swim from one porthole to another.
