Marianne Guedin's Toupilles vase (above), translation "spinning top", is literally a ball of water held down by a smaller glass marble. One of several thoughtful designs for glass vases by the prolific Guedin, her collection also includes Virgule, with a slot for a stem that won't make it to the bottom of the vase, 1/4, four of which form a "full vase" and one of which works in a corner and Vortex, inspired by the natural phenomenon.
