Meet the Nanospores. There’s Gunther. He’s easily recognizable, all chocolate swirl and simplicity. Ellie is the wildest aerosol can around, capable of spraying a wide array of substances, like glue, rabies, fire, cattle and 16-hue rainbows, to name but a few. Girl is a bob with bangs personified (spore-ified?) and Maiden is definitely somewhere in the kimono-wearing marshmallow family, a distant relative of the petit-four. Bean and Proto round out the group, but apparently there exists a Mystery Nanospore which by definition defies description. On one hand, Nanospores are collectible art toys created by Paul Hwang and Ben Lee in Los Angeles, but on the other, they are really spore-based life forms sent to this planet to carry out research, emulation, reconnaissance and evacuation. Too cute to fear. SM
