Normann Copenhagen is a Danish design firm that hires designers like Karim Rashid and Marcel Wanders to reinvent everyday objects like a a plastic hanger or a tea box. My personal favorites are Ole Jensen's polypropylene dustpan and Boje Estermann's collapsible kitchen funnel. Most of these pieces have won awards ranging from the Good Design award, Formland award, to the red dot design award. SMK
