This Week at Art MoCo
by sabine7 / February 10, 2006

Lylian Klimek’s concrete Megapods crept up on Art MoCo this week – an arty mix of sci-fi and the forces of nature which was also reflected in past works such as her “What if all the colour leaked out?” series, but Victor Cicansky stuck to the more recognizable ceramic offerings of Mother Nature.

Sky, sea and classical architectural lines met in the fantasy worlds of Raffaello Ossola, and Nanospores dropped to our planet with their own brand of cute.

Ryan Price brought new meaning to “you are what you eat”.

And Zhang Xiaogang disturbed us with delicate, yet deliberate, destruction in his formal portraits inspired by old photos.

James Casebere took the deception further still by confusing us with his photos of architectural tabletop models. SM
