MoCo Loco Contributing Editor Gimena Gomez Paz was at IMM Cologne last week and sent in this photo report. "The show was less 'decorative' than Milan 2005, there is decoration but it's more refined and elegant. Nature seems to be the inspiration for a lot of new products, not only because of the natural shades chosen, the natural, genuine materials used, but also because it's inspiring the shapes of products. I have seen a lot of asymetric and organic shapes, even the more edgy designs have 'nature' roots. The Ideal Houses were a bit disappointing for me ... the ones from last year were much more exciting and inspiring...". We'll let you be the judge tomorrow when we show you the Ideal Houses and more.
