Milan based British designer James Irvine has designed Haloscope for Foscarini's 2005 collection, a floor lamp with a stem in glass, a transparent plastic base and a chrome-plated metal diffuser. A pair of joints allows the light to be rotated and oriented. Featuring an extremely rigorous design and minimal visual impact, Haloscope is a simple yet sophisticated lamp with great lighting functionality. GP
