The Tube spawns subway tiles and furniture. "In collaboration with London’s Transport Museum, Art Meets Matter designer Tony Davis has created a number of unique objects and materials.". Not an understatement. The range explores design objects such as espresso demi-tasse and ‘digital materials’ in the form of fabric, flooring (rugs), wallpaper, and ceramic tiles. They all feature the original London Underground Diagram designed by Harry Beck in 1931.
