An exhibition of unique pieces by Ingo Maurer is being shown in their eponymous New York shop through November. L'Eclat Joyeux (above) is a special version of Porca Miseria!, per Ingo Maurer, it's an ode "to keep calm and serene in difficult times, an appeal not to stagnate in one's habits, or just a terrific suspension lamp providing excellent light? I made Porca China as the first special version of Porca Miseria! in spring 2005 using pieces of porcelain figures I acquired on a journey to China.".
