For those who believe a home office is more than a corner desk-shelving unit from the local office supply depot. I’ve been looking for this book for a while now, books on modern contemporary home office design are rare. For some, all I need to say is it’s a Taschen book, for everyone else; “this book has gathered projects from around the world that represent the latest trends in working space design. Each project is the work of a contemporary architect, interior designer, or homeowner who has used striking and ingenious ideas to create a distinctive working area.”. True to the publisher’s blurb, this book does show new contemporary designs for home offices, but the entire homes are distinctive as well (thus not sure these ideas can be retrofit). Softcover, 384 pages, abundantly illustrated, due in November, $16.47 at Amazon.
