Architects Achyut D. Kantawala and Edward Ky Ng have come together to create Seed International, a Massachusetts based design firm. Seed focuses on products that are economical and easy to manufacture with an emphasis on mobility resulting in tool-less, multi-functional designs. Designs include the Xv, a shelving system that can be assembled vertically or horizontally with the option to add as many pieces as you want. The In & Out which can be put together to form a sofa/coffee-table or a bench with storage and the Peel chair, which utilizes the lightweight properties of aircraft plywood so that it can be easily disassembled.
