Designing Your Home for Health and Fitness.
Apparently modern contemporary design and personal fitness go well together. That's the conclusion one would come to flipping through the pages of this book on "over a dozen homes that architecturally create health- conscious environments.". Designed to more fully integrate exercise in daily life, these (big) houses feature long grand staircases, floor plans to encourage walking and climbing walls to encourage climbing. Exercise never looked so attractive. There's a list of featured projects after the jump, but standouts include BCJ's Pool House (not on their website) and MOA's Ten Broeck House addition. Hardcover, 160 pages, 150 images, $26.37 at Amazon.
