Red Light District Lamp
by Sally / August 8, 2005

Fused glass lampshade lamp.
Old materials and new technology come together in a new lamp series called the Red Light District by Brooklyn based designer Nicholas Furrow. Vintage glass lampshades are stacked and fused to make a rigid column with a distinctive, undulating form. Colored LEDs light the lamps evenly as they sit comfortably on three clear rubber feet. Although they give bright, colored light they consume little electricity and the bulbs will last a generation. Produced in amber, orange, and red. SMK
