Monograph of one of my favorite upper Midwest architects (there are others!), Salmela Architect is about David Salmela, a "regionalist” architect from Minnesota. "Salmela accomplishes this (his brand of regionalism) by juxtaposing opposites: modernist and traditional forms, open and cellular plans, large and small scales, familiar elements used in unfamiliar ways.".
