Contemporary lighting today compendium.
Saw this at ICFF. Brilliant is the first title in the V&A Contemporary series of books. V&A is the Victoria & Albert Museum in the UK that often shows contemporary design. The book "explores the exciting new range of lighting forms, fabrics and technologies, from the archetypal domestic lamp to innovations in lighted clothing.". So, it's not just lighting in the traditional sense, it's also "materials that pulse and glow, heat resistant fabrics and wireless and ‘cool’ light sources.". And yes, brilliant lights in every sense. Paperback, 128 pages, 100 color photos, $15.30 at Amazon.
