House designs picture book.
Most, if not all, of the Daab Publishing Design and Compact Design series of books are illustrated end to end. In other words, little text, few captions, and a picture on every page. They let the images speak for themselves. But what truly distinguishes these books is the selection of images. House Design features some great images from new MoCo homes small and large, with some interesting and very different designs for “the home’s three indispensable areas”; kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The Design series overall is somewhat uneven, but House Design merits a good look or two. Paperback, 399 pages, $20.37 at Amazon, due in June 2005.
