MILAN 2005: Reading lamp with "Chip on Board" technology.
Gimena Gomezpaz writes, "Mix is a new reading lamp with a lightweight frame that uses Luceplan's new LED Chip on Board technology. A series of multicolour LEDs produce an intense light source, warm and pleasant with low energy consumption (just 5 Watts). Two colored filters in the head allow for the regulation of the colour temperature. There are also table and wall versions, all with an extended lamp life of 50,000 hours.". Also from Luceplan, "Miranda and and Mirandolina by Paolo Rizzatto. A series of table, bedside, floor and suspension lights made of aluminium and blown glass. The diffuser is either opal or mirrored glass supported by a ring that holds the lamp-holder, the concepts true core.".
