It worked for BMW.
One our favorite furniture brands, the attractive and affordable Blu Dot, has kicked off a series of short films to promote itself. The first film in the series, "Seven Twenty", features a man and woman bicycling down a country road and stopping to photograph garbage. "They proceed to photograph other everyday scenes and objects and it soon becomes clear that they are not interested in the objects themselves, but in photographing the numbers that are written or printed on them.". They're collecting photos of numeric combinations to create a "digital" clock (720 images in all...) that you can actually download and use on the desktop of your computer.
