Gravity defying glass top table.
A single solid wood spine no more than 7 inches wide and several feet long supports a 3-foot wide glass tabletop above. Bailey Humbert Heck's Jaffe table does have metal braces to help hold it up but it's the sculpted wood base that captivates. Defying gravity, and tension, is a theme that runs through the collection of tables and shelving. Case in point is the Marstrand Shelf where each component is essential to the shelf's integrity.
