Schematic wall lamp.
Davy Grosemans' Ballast is a 3D representation of a schematic drawing of a lamp. The drawing, taken from a technical manual, is printed on a fabric which is placed in front of the actual fluorescent lamp. "The first layer shows and hides at the same time what is behind". Grosemans' portfolio also includes the Indicator wall lamp with a fluorescent light shaped acrylic sheet that's lit from the side. Thus the "fluorescent tube" looks like it's suspended and lit when in reality the light comes from the side of the lamp. You have to see it. There's more lighting, furniture and accessories on his site. Via Reluct.
