Saw this Conran book on Dezain. 110 product designers are interviewed and answer questions such as, "What product do you wish you had designed?", "What was your big break?", "What influences your work?" and "What's the greatest challenge you face in your work?". Luckily, per the blurb, it's "beautifully illustrated (with) today's cutting-edge furniture". In addition to the interview, there's a biography that introduces each designer and illustrations of, not only the designer's own work, but the influences that inspire them plus sketches or ideas in progress.
