TV commercial director Alex Ogus couldn't find a lamp to his taste so he designed his own. I haven't seen his ad reel, but maybe commercials should be the sideline. The Table Lamp has a base made of solid, precision-machined aircraft aluminum with a halogen uplight that lights up a frosted glass shade inserted in the base. The glass "shade" can be positioned horizontally or vertically, and the lamp comes in different form factors for different applications, ie., floor lamp.
