Architect Dale Mulfinger, author of The Cabin, wrote this one for Taunton Books. It's organized according to four settings: woods and wilderness, mountains, water sites, and desert and it features mostly larger homes, although there are a few smaller less costly ones. As with many Taunton books (and The Cabin), there's a mix of contemporary, avant-garde, arts & crafts and traditional design.
