Print design magazine article on design blogs.
Brit design mag icon has published on the web the entire text of an article they recently published in print (issue 017) on design blogs. Yours truly is quoted. Here's the sub heading from the article, "Don't bother reading icon if you want to find the very latest news on product design and architecture. Our lead times are way too long.". As luck would have it, they used my quote, "It will take a long time for digital media to replace print, if ever. Each has a role to play. Digital is good for immediacy. Print for the experience.". It's no surprise that icon would be the first mainstream design mag to tackle blogs, it's generally a good read, a bit pricey on this side of the pond, but very accessible and objective.
