Speakers as art.
Aesthetics and sound quality are combined in the "loudspeakers and subwoofers concealed behind striking fabrics and artwork" made by Artcoustic. Designers now have another canvas for the handiwork, "positioning loudspeakers need no longer be at the expense of your room’s decor. Whenever you feel your speakers need a new look, it’s simple to take out the screens and replace them with new ones.". Artcoustic has developed a variety of screen options from which clients can choose for the fronts of their speakers, but you can design your own screen if you want as well. Thanks John!

"Artcoustic & Getty Images Gallery have joined forces to bring you a large selection of black and white photographs to be mounted on the Artcoustic loudspeaker range. Artcoustic is the first and only of its kind to integrate high-end sound quality with aesthetic design without compromising one to the other."

Artcoustic DF-Series speaker without the screen. "This speaker puts you in touch with the very instrument that created the original sound –a speaker so fine that, listening to it, you wont notice it’s there but would think yourself in the presence of the actual musician. Each cabinet has been engineered using Artcoustic’s QPC bass system precisely to control vibration and air- flow. Vario vents have been utilized in the DF-series to achieve a controlled pressure equalization, which allow for balanced air movement creating near perfect sound reproduction.".

Artcoustic also makes Absorber Plates; "low profile Sound Absorbers can be mounted on walls, on ceilings or even as room dividers to increase mid and hi frequency absorption. Wherever high performance sound reproduction is compromised due to excessively live room acoustics, specifying Artcoustic new Sound Absorbers will dramatically improve the tonal balance in your room."
