Thin Cut
by Admin1 / August 12, 2004

Lamp inspired by index cards.
A row of thin porcelain sheets is loosely suspended from the ceiling, when lit, light from bulbs inside the panels breaks through the gaps. And, like the delicate chandelier that it is, a draft or breeze sets the panels in motion. There are more porcelain lights from designer Cordula Kafka; the circular, stackable Solas floor lamp, and the backlit, wall-mounted Sunmoon and Daylight.
