Napping pod and service.
It’s the “mid-day rest facilities” service I find genius. If you’re like me after lunch, at around 2:30pm you get this dire urge to sleep. Hard to do in an open office. But one only needs 15 minutes to bounce back refreshed and energized. Metronaps actually offers that service in downtown NYC using the Pod. It costs $14 for 15 minutes. Believe me, some days I would easily pay that. Metronaps hopes to become “the premier provider of professional nap centers in the United States.”. Savvy employers will set up their own mid-day rest facilities (I hope).
