Multifunctional beach furniture.
“The Sand Castle Stool is in response to the need for lightweight, portable, beach furniture. By basing the design on the sand castle bucket, we have created a playful solution which is durable, stackable, acting as storage for your other beach items, but more importantly, creates sandcastles!”. The Sand Castle Stool is a prototype in search of a manufacturer. One of several items seen at DesginFront04, a contemporary design show held in Southend-On-Sea in the UK. Other items included Anne Barrell’s photo tiles, BakeBean’s wine rack shelf, Block’s lit vase, Complice furniture, Jason Taylor’s brush bench, Multi’s bone china lighting, and Waldegrave Sweet’s vases.

Anne Barrell’s photo tiles are "hand-glazed tiles and fine bone china printed with atmospheric coastal photographic images.".

Complice features "exciting product and furniture designs for domestic living rooms, corporate reception spaces, hotels, bars and restaurants.".
Jason Taylor's Isaw Products makes "a range of inovative products that challange preconceptions of materials and objects through lighting pieces and furniture.".
Multi makes "bone china and glass products for the home" including these hanging lamps.
