Dutch Souvenirs
by Admin1 / June 10, 2004

MoCo Dutch souvenirs.
"Dutch souvenirs is a project about the phenomenon of reproducible ceramic objects that are sold in the Netherlands as souvenirs.". It's a new vision of the Dutch souvenir created by 41 Dutch and foreign designers and visual artists. Not unlike Motherbrand's Cabin Collection, a collection of Canadian cultural symbols as MoCo objects. Focusing on the philosophical and artistic idea of the souvenir, the participants have developed their designs into prototypes. Via Reluct.

DESIGNERS: Hanna Tynkkynen, Juana Valdes, Scholten & Baijing, Ineke Hans, Louise Schouwenberg, Miriam van der Lubbe, Menno Dieperink, Niels van Eijk, Jongeriuslab, Manon van Kouswijk
