Artist designed rug that looks like an eye.
Swedish carpet manufacturer Kasthall commissioned artist Dan Wolgers to create this novel rug in the shape of an eye. For Wolgers, an artist who doesn’t shy away from controversy, “The Eye is the artist’s most important tool and is also basic for the viewer.Therefore I thought it would be interesting to make a rug, with a shape of an eye, which is also meant to walk on.” The Eye is the first rug in a planned series where you can choose the color of the eye’s iris. Eye is hand tufted in wool, cut in different levels, and measures two meters in diameter.
