Functional door formed by constantly falling water. Designed by Daniel Harper, Watur was originally created for the Elseware design collective's [ ]Fuse art exhibition. The door is a standard width metal frame with tubing inside that carries water from a receptacle at the bottom of the door to the top where the water falls and acts as the surface of the door. Harper’s [ ]Fuse installation was titled [Re]fuse - “A normal door can refuse someone by being locked, but in this case the person refuses the door rather than the door refusing the person.”. Watur is available at online store UrbanPeel.com (also quite interesting).
