Modern contemporary design store for kids. Oakland-based online retailer Modernseed has furniture, accessories and fashion for kids with discerning, modernist tastes. Founded by ex-graphic designer Melissa Pfeiffer, the selection includes items from Blu Dot, Offi (designed by TRUCK), Bozart, Candela, Inhabit and Pure Design. There’s also some neat wall graphics for kids rooms from Wall Candy and a good selection of mobiles from Flensted including one for your own, ah, mini-me’s, creations.
