Designers Maurice Blanks and John Christakos of Minneapolis-based Blu Dot, have added the molded plywood Buttercup chair to their expanding line of affordable chairs, tables, beds, accessories and storage systems. Buttercup is a lounge chair made of a ribbon-like form of bent plywood that sits on a stainless steel pedestal base.
