A tactile experience where it counts. Architect-designer Jeanne Scandura designed this lounge chair made of firm translucent silicon rubber as part of a collection made of the same material called Tread. The look is 50’s minimalist, but the mix of materials is new; the polyurethane rubber is hand cast and the frame is made of enameled steel. Dimensions are 24” D x 20” W x 25” H. MSRP $3500. The Tread line also includes a stool called Cube made of a single chunk of rubber.
