German designer Peter Maly and piano maker Sauter have created a line of designer pianos. This upright model, the Pure 2000, was designed to reduce the piano to its purest form with an emphasis on surfaces. The piano has a gloss lacquer finish, flush-fitting chromium-plated metal corner details and a fine finger groove that makes the upright easy to open. The piano also features RR grand technology, a moderator (soft pedal), and round height-adjustable feet and is available in matt white/maple, matt black/walnut, or matt white. Dimensions; 123.5cm H x 156cm W x 59.5cm D and weighs 225kg. There’s an optional rectilinear piano stool, called Factus, made of leather and chromium-plated steel available.
