Beyond form and function there's what Herman Miller is doing with their new Mirra chair. Ergonomic design, intelligent support controls, comfort, looks, the usual list of Herman Miller chair features. What I'm impressed with is the fact that Mirra is made of 42% recycled steel, aluminum and plastic and, when the chair is done, it's 96% recyclable. Proving once again that responsible doesn't mean ugly or ungainly, and that design can do more. Designed in collaboration with Germany's Studio 7.5.
