Looks like an aircraft air intake? Designer Giancarlo de Astis' Lo Squalo club chair is actually made with airplane parts. A real prop engine air intake, salvaged from an Arizona airplane scrap yard, sits under the leather-covered seat. The chair is 51" high, 36.25" wide and 37" deep and made of maple, leather, aluminum and steel.
