Los Angeles based designer Giancarlo de Astis recycles airplane parts and turns them into furniture. A wing aileron from a Fairchild C-119 was used to make the Il Primo Wing Desk (shown). Made of mahogany, glass and aluminum, the 30" high desk is 69.5" long by 51.5" wide. The desk comes complete with integrated A/C and category 3 and 5 cabling for networking. Starting from $8900.
