The big comfy rotationally-molded-recyclable-colored-polyethylene chair. Ron Arad created The Big Easy for Italy's Moroso. The chair has a steel frame covered with stress-resistant polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. The cover is not removable but the armchair is both waterproof and light resistant so that it can be used both inside and outside. Interesting note, a limited edition stainless steel version was made back in 1988 (see the extended version of this article for pictures).

This limited edition version of The Big Easy was made in 1988. It was hollow welded in patinated black or stainless steel with polished off welds and was available in a 2-seater version as well.

In 1999, Ron Arad Associates hand made 18 special edition fibreglass and polyester versions of The Big Easy for the Gallery Mourmans.
