Vitra has attempted to redefine the workspace with its new Joyn office system. On the basis that cooperation, communication and change are increasingly the bywords of successful companies, French designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec have created a big surface to which can be attached a series of accessories that define spaces for work. The dynamic "micro-architecture" system includes mobile separators, power and data systems, desktop accessories, lamps, and cabinets. As needs change, the space can be re-zoned for private work, teamwork, touchdown, conference.
