It's hard to describe the jewelry of Ted Noten. If they have one thing in common it's that they all tell you something about the concept of value. This translates into broches made from a Mercedes exterior and a real mouse with a pearl necklace casted in resin to name a few examples. It's obvious Ted Noten has quite a few stories to tell looking at the never failing conceptual works he produced over the past years.
Nicolette Brunklaus started her design label Brunklaus with a small collection of printed products. Lamp shades with a forest print on the inside, or outside, birch print "log" lamps and a set of blond curled hair print curtains. The blond hair curtains never hit the market, but are available on request. I have seen them once and I am sure they are worth the extra money.
Design for People is a new Dutch design label by Marc de Groot. It launched in 2003 and sells to distributors only. The Design for People product range counts eight products and should be enough to furnish a small apartment.
Marc Th van der Voorn is the designer and founder of AAN-UIT. A lighting design label based in Amsterdam. Marc's 2001 TURN-oN lamp, a folded and printed plastic lamp, got him a lot of attention and kicked off an impressive product line of five lamp designs.
